DPD Spotlight

C32 Farewell

A big shout-out to our C32s, Who are off to work experience with VMLY&R. They wrapped up their learning journey with a solid and impressive presentation – what an amazing send-off, with a few guest appearances from C35 and Nhlangano. Lungelo, Kgomotso and Tshepang - have gone above and beyond in the last few months, and we are so incredibly proud of how much they've grown, what they've learnt and your tenacity. We know, that you're going to absolutely own your work experience!

UCT Digital Bootcamp

Meta Certification

A big congratulation to Nkululeko Cele for his legendary record-breaking learning time.

Nkululeko is a Meta Social Media Management student who completed his course within the first month of the bootcamp! This is very commendable and speaks to the great level of determination that he possesses.

We see it and we like it. Well done!

Curiosity Awards

We kicked off the month with an online Curiosity Awards party, where many of you joined, participated and signed up for this year’s awards. That then gave us our 6 teams for the year 2022!

Now a month in, with the first round done & dusted, meet the team Edison, Bell, Da Vinci, Tesla, Wright & Gutenberg who have been hard at work, creating something very curious.

Connection Sessions

August Instalment

We kicked off our August & September Connection Sessions. This time around we have Musa, Liezel & Karabo hosting the sessions. In Musa’s sessions, we tackled vulnerability with a twist via a Never Have I Ever: Work Edition game. In Liezel’s sessions, we took on the art of interpretation via story time with Billy & the Dragon. Lastly, in Karabo’s session, we reflected on our Work-life Balance via goals met & aspirations for the months left of 2022.

If you have not signed up for a session yet, you have one more week to catch the last of these fulfilling sessions where we just connect & chill with recruits & staff alike.

Throwback of the Month

In the time of deadlines, presentations…impressions. In an era of trying to be the best you can be at what you do; if you are lucky enough to have figured it out on time, we find ourselves winging it timelessly with no time to do all of it and even finish it.

But what if you could have time? All the time you could ever want and need? What would you make of it? And moments? Which ones will you seize?

Reality is…as cliché as it sounds… Time waits for no man, and in reality, we require somebody to lean on, push us in the direction…help us. We all require a little push, or a hand to hold while walking through trials and times.

Enjoy!
